Dallas Cowboys Get a Break Going into Sunday's Game With the Packers

At one time the Dallas Cowboys were leading the NFC East and in a great position for the playoffs. After Monday night flop they are now a game back with a good Green Bay team on deck. With the potential that the Packers offense has no matter who is quarterbacking that does not bode well for the league's worst defense.

However, the Pack are at their best with Aaron Rodgers; there is no telling what Green Bay will look with the other two. So Dallas has to be happy to hear the latest on Green Bay's QB1.

During a recent radio appearance Rodgers did not sound like someone that is expecting to play. He experienced some pain as recent as last week when going through drills. With the playoffs not looking too likely this season it would not be shocking to see Green Bay shut him down for good.

No reason to play the franchise quarterback that is not 100 percent healthy with nothing to play for.

Dallas, on the other hand, is still in the thick of the hunt. If they can win the next two and Philadelphia wins their next two the regular season finale between the two will be for the division. So if this Sunday's game will be against a Green Bay team that is minus one of the best quarterbacks in the game--well, that's a good thing.
