For just the second time in seven seasons it is looking like Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker is not going to have 100 or more receptions this season. Part of the reason is the continued development of the Broncos other weapons, Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas.
The other part is because of plays like this:

Welker ended up leaving the game and was eventually ruled out with a concussion.
He 'recovered' quickly from his last one and didn't miss any time, but with another coming so soon after I'd be surprised if the team had him back on the field this coming Thursday when the Broncos take on San Diego.
