New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is one of the best in the game, and when you play as well as he has for as long as he has you are bound to accumulate some serious stats.
During Sunday night's game against the Carolina Panthers his passing stats reached a mark that few have during the history of the NFL-- 50,000+ career passing yards!

He'll be hard-pressed to surpass No. 4 on the list this season (John Elway; 51,475). He'll have to have a few epic games down the stretch to do that. It will be a few years before he can even think about supplanting Dan Marino at the No. 3 slot (61,361).
Peyton Manning is the active leader and No. 2 on the list with 63,612 and counting. No one is going to catch Brett Favre anytime soon (71,838).
