| From Bleacher Report |
After the game he acknowledged the incident, but did not provide any real insight (via PFT):
"It was just a point in the game where you’re dealing with a lot of emotions involved, and it’s one of those things that happened. I cannot really discuss what happened. That’s what happened, it is what it is...."Wait--what? It's one of those things that happened; I can't discuss it; that's what happened--is anyone else a little confused? Anyway...I think it is safe to say that some guys were just mad that they were getting their butts handed to them by a team that was out of the playoffs before the season started.
"...At the end of the day, we lost the game. We felt very comfortable and confident that we should be able to come out here and win, we just didn’t play good enough. We didn’t play good enough to win, and at the end of the day that’s all that matters."
I guess they forgot that their only division competition is Dallas, and if you count on anything it's that the Cowboys will always make sure that their opponents are in the game (or division hunt).
