The Baltimore Ravens are now poised to make a run at their division title, but to do so they will need to have one guy stay healthy--quarterback Joe Flacco. For a few minutes during Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions it appeared as if they might lose their offensive leader when his knee/lower leg took a nasty hit from one of the Detroit defenders (it was legal and not Ndamukong Suh).

It briefly appeared as if Tyrod Taylor was going to get into the game, but Flacco returned and got the team into position for a 61-yard game winning field goal. However, he didn't put much weight on his injured leg on that final drive.
So is he hurt?
If you ask him he says he's fine.
"It wasn't really bothering me once the initial hit [happened],"
said Flacco, who was 20-of-38 for 222 yards. "I was probably more scared than anything from just what I felt and also just trying to get a couple of yards out of it."
He didn't say whether he was going to get some further testing done to make sure his knee was okay, but with the investment the team has in him it would be surprising if they didn't.
