Oklahoma State Cheated Out of A Game Saving Interception Against Oklahoma?

The Bedlam Series lived up to its billing as one of the most intense rivalries in college football with the Oklahoma Sooners coming out on top 33-24. Man! What a game! After the Sooners took their first lead late in the game the Cowboys came back with an awesome drive to retake the lead with less than two minutes to go.

Than the Sooners came back with an awesome drive of their own, but should it have been stopped after the Cowboys intercepted a Blake Bell pass?

The refs said no, and the Sooners got the next play off so quick there wasn't a chance to get the play reviewed--and it should have been. A catch appears to be made when the duo went up for the ball, but shortly after they landed on the turf the ball came squirting out.

So its easy to see why the ruling on the field was an incomplete pass, but what if it was reviewed? Would the call have stood?

I think it would have been a tough call. Justin Gilbert has the ball in his hands in the air. He still has it when the two lands--but he lands on Sooners wide receiver Lacoltan Bester before actually touching the ground.

At that time I thought he was down and the play was over. So when Bester reaches over and strips the ball it shouldn't have mattered.

What do you think internet? Was Oklahoma State robbed? Or was it a good call by the referee?
