Now that the college football season is all but over it's time the media and blog-o-sphere ramp up the spotlight on the top picks for the coming draft. After what many consider a disappointing season, South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is going to be the focus of that spotlight quite a bit.
Hence the ridiculous amount of attention that has been given to his recent traffic stop.
Pundits are talking about it as if it actually reflects in some way what kind of person he is and how well he'll play at the next level. The reality of it of course is that just like the rest of us, the man has received a speeding ticket. That's it.
If speeding tickets were an actual reflection of anything other than impatience and a heavy foot than tons of folks would have character issues.
