Since everything is bigger in Texas it is only appropriate that the drama surrounding the Texas Longhorns be as big as the Lone Star State.
All season long the speculation has run rampant about the future of Texas Longhorns Head Coach Mack Brown. After a poor start it seemed like the end was near, but then he rallied the troops for a respectable 8-4 finish. The only problem with that is the Longhorns are not accustomed with just being respectable.
They want championships. So the question becomes whether Brown is the man to bring the team back to glory or not. With the way the rumors are flying it’s hard to tell which way the Brown and the university are leaning.
Brown kicked the speculation into high gear when he refused to comment on his job after the Baylor game. The media and anyone that thinks they know someone with inside information has taken care of the rest....
