Colorado Brewery Creates Omaha-Inspired Brew; Offers Free Beer to Gisele Bundchen and Patriots Fans

Peyton Manning has made 'Omaha' one of the most talked about words in the English language this week after being heard saying it over 40 times in the playoff win over San Diego last week. It has been the topic of conversation of many a press conference and blog post, but most of all it has done this--inspired the name of a new beer.

Official Logo from West Flanders Brewing Website
West Flanders Brewing in Boulder, Colorado, has come up with a micro beer in honor of the Broncos that they originally called Brett on the Broncos in honor of the team and the yeast used in making the beer. However, the NFL had an issue with that and sent the brewery a cease and desist letter (copyright infringement on the Broncos name).

The post on the brewery's website is absolutely hilarious. This is an excerpt from it:
To avoid offending anyone else, we've invited the players and coaches from the NFL’s Massachusetts professional football team to a complimentary West Flanders Brewing meal, with West Flanders beers included.

The team-only meal is scheduled for 1-4 PM MST on Sunday. We hope to see the entire team at our place.

We'll have a special seat reserved for Josh McDaniels (next to special guest Jay Cutler), and West Flanders Brewing hoodies for the entire coaching staff.
One more thing: Go Colorado Professional Football Team!
Anyway...I think the name they came up with as a replacement is even better and quite appropriate as long as the city and steak company don't take issue with it-- Omaha, Omaha, Brett!

The brewery has also invited Patriots fans to come in and enjoy free drinks during the game today. If I lived in Boulder and had a t-shirt I could use to prove my allegiance (or could borrow one) I'd definitely do it. Think about it--you get to watch the game in what I'm going to assume is a pretty cool establishment and drink for free. If the Patriots win or lose it doesn't matter because you got to drink for free while you wathed the game.

The deal is a little sweeter for Mrs. Brady, Gisele Bundchen. The brewery has extended an offer of free food and drink for life. Before you balk and say something about her being married to the enemy look at her:
