Eagles QB Nick Foles Named Offensive MVP of the Pro Bowl

The toughest part about the Pro Bowl is not the competition--even though they are supposed to be the best of the best the NFL has to offer. No, the tough part is actually looking good in the game. With the half-assed effort that many players put in on both sides of the ball it's pretty hard to look good especially on offense.

When someone does it's likely going to be a performance worthy of a little hardware.

So when Philadelphia Eagles quarterback finished the day 7-10 for 89 yards and a touchdown he was the logical choice for Offensive MVP of the Pro Bowl except for one thing. 

His team lost.

Alex Smith took Team Rice down the field for a touchdown--a 20-yard run by Demarco Murray (with minimal tackling)--late in the game capped off by a two-point conversion by Mike Tolbert to give the team the win.

Smith was the only one of six quarterbacks to thrown for over 100 yards (116) and had an interception and touchdown on the day. He would have likely been the Offensive MVP, but since he was 9-22 on the day it had to have been kind of hard to give him the award.
