The work of a mascot is never done--except when the game is in progress that is. When the ball is in play they need to get the heck out of the way, and if they aren't careful they might find themselves forced to do something drastic in order to do so.
For example, take a look at what Chicago Bulls mascot Benny the Bull did in order to get off the court when the Bulls and Clippers got started!
