Grammy Winning Opera Star to Sing National Anthem at Super Bowl; Want to Hear What She Sounds Like?

One of the most talked about aspects of the Super Bowl is the National Anthem (often because the performer screws up). Typically it is performed by one of the most popular and accomplished stars in the music industry. This year's performer is accomplished, but not too well known.

I'm talking about 4-time Grammy winning opera singer Renee Fleming.

If you listen to opera or attend one from time to time you probably know her, but lets be real--how many sports fans go to the opera? If you follow politics though you may remember her from President Obama's inauguration back in '09:



This will likely go one of two ways. It will either be the longest dang rendition ever performed or it will be a timeless classic that future performers will have to live up to.
