March Madness is Going to be Truly Mad This Year!

The 2014 Men's College Basketball Tournament is going to be like none other. Yes, every tournament is different since it features different stars each year, but this year it will have nothing to do with the players. No, this year it will be all about fans filling out their brackets. Why?

Because it could be worth one billion dollars!

Don't worry. The fee to buy in to your office pool hasn't skyrocketed. Filthy, stinking rich Warren Buffet and Quicken Loans have teamed up to offer a $1 billion prize to anyone that can fill out a perfect bracket for this year's tournament (see rules).

It's a task that is easier said than done of course. There is no documented case of this ever happening, and the odds of someone doing it ('it' being pick 67 straight winners) being 1 in 9.2 quintillion.

So it's all about the publicity, right? Not exactly. Assuming no one wins the billion dollars the top 20 brackets will win $100,000.
