Two Seahawks Fans Shot By 49ers Fan For Taunting Him

Folks--it is just a dang game. Allow me to type that again in case I wasn't clear--it is just a game. Yes, it is an awesome game, and I love it too. However, it is not something that should inspire one to commit serious acts of violence.

You know--like shooting someone.

A 49ers fan in Fresno apparently doesn't feel the same way since he shot a pair of Seattle fans at a party. It seems they were taunting him and he didn't like it. What makes this a little more disturbing is that it didn't involve some idiot kids that are too stupid to know better, but a 39-year old man (the shooter) and a 45-year old and 63-year old (the taunters).

Maybe this kind of thing has been going on for years, and it only seems to be a big thing now because the internet allows local stories like this to national. Whether its a new thing or not doesn't matter. It has to stop people. Time to grow up.

How can we really get mad at our athletes for getting angry and running their mouths when fans shoot each other for the same thing?
