For non-fans hockey is a lot like racing. Since you are not a fan of the sport what happens during the game/race is not of interest. It's the wrecks in racing and in hockey its the fights. Guys do it, they get penalized, and the game goes on.
After the fight that started the Canucks/Flames game Saturday night it was a little harder to move on (yes, at the start of the game; literally within seconds of the puck dropping).
Is it just me or does anyone else find it hilarious that while the first two guys were going at it the other guys seemed to just skate around bored. Once they were split up though everyone else decided it was go time.
Awesome.
When the whole mess was finally sorted out 10 players were ejected and 142 penalty minutes handed out.
