The San Diego Chargers had their backs against the wall for pretty much the entire game against Denver Sunday and almost pulled it out in the end only to come up short. Kudos to the Chargers for making it a tight one in the end, and even more so for not letting it get out of hand early.

Had Darius Butler not snagged this interception at the end of the first half--Peyton's first red zone one in a really long time (I can't remember what the commentators said)--the Chargers could have been down 21-0 and than 24-0 when the Broncos scored a field goal on the first drive of the second half.
Not good.
So while in the end it might not have mattered much, but it helped keep the game from getting out of hand early and helped make it interesting late.
