A few weeks ago no one would have guessed that Ohio State would have had much trouble with Penn State. However, after going in to a free fall the last three weeks the Nittany Lions smelled an upset waiting to happen--and they got it.
D.J. Newbill hit a three to send the game to overtime and than hit this jumper late in the game to give the Nittany Lions the win, 71-70.
After losing six of their last seven the win moves Penn State back over .500 (11-10).
For the Buckeyes it is their fifth loss in their last six and will knock them out of the 25 when the new rankings come out next week.
