Saturday's game against No. 8 Oklahoma State was a big one for the Baylor Bears. After starting the season looking like the team to beat in the Big 12 and winning 12 of their first 13 they dropped six of their next seven. In roughly three weeks they went from being on top of the world to on the outside looking in.
Needless to say they needed a big win to get back on track--and they got it against their conference rivals Saturday afternoon.
Baylor led most of the way, but the Cowboys were never far behind. The Bears took just a one point lead into the half, but were able to stretch to nine (55-46) when Corey Jefferson made a jumper about midway through the second half.

Markel Brown tied the game at 57-57 with a dunk around the six minute mark, and Oklahoma State took a one point lead a couple minutes later off a pair of Marcus Smart free throws. However, Gary Franklin's three pointer moments later put the Bears back on top for good.
