DeSean Jackson May Not Be Staying in Philly After All (but could be)

Rumors have been flying around the internet concerning the future of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was interested in him, and whether he might stay in the City of Brotherly Love. Tuesday it appeared that the rumors were put to rest after Jackson and Eagles head coach Chip Kelly had a talk.

It appeared as if all was good once again, but it now appears that is not the case at all.

To be fair, the meeting between Kelly and Jackson did go well, but it did not necessarily conclude with a reconciliation. Instead it appears that the two may have just cleared the air a little and come to an understanding.

Chip when asked if he wants DeSean in football team: I like DeSean. But we will do what is best for the football team #Eagles

After the two met Jackson had posted a message on Instagram that led many to believe he was staying for sure:

"Good to Talk to BIg Chip today !! Say or hear what ya want !! The Picture speaks for itself !! Winner BirdGaNg !!"

To be honest--I'm not sure what he just said.

Kelly's comments are pretty clear though. Team comes first--and that is something Jackson has not always been good at doing.
