However, if he isn't careful the big bad social media monster might eat away at his good reputation till someone accuses him of >gasp< signing an autograph for money.

Jameis isn't just any college kid anymore though. He's a Heisman Trophy winner and a national champion. If there is anything that people like more than following the ascension of a star its watching--and/or helping--it fall.
Now that he is on top of the college sports world that means anything and everything that he does is going to get overanalyzed, and that no matter what it is going to make someone mad. I wouldn't doubt that there are some folks looking for a reason to tear him down.
As harmless as it seems, stuff like this is exactly what the haters are looking for:

It's trash talk in its most basic form. Plenty of folks have done it without angering anyone but the fans of the other team--but not Winston. He apparently heard from a number of people:
Tweeting two pictures makes me have a big head and no class wow... But a stadium booing only one person is class?

Trying to argue or reason with trolls is the absolute worst thing that a person can do. For trolls it is all about the feedback. They want to know that they got under your skin a little and the best way to see that of course is by getting their target to respond.
Pretty much the only thing you can do is admit fault, forget about it, and move on.
I apologize if disrespected anyone that competed and sacrificed on those fields I posted but if your a fan be a fan and enjoy the show

I agree with Winston. Fans should be fans and just enjoy the show. That's all he was trying to do there, but since trolls are trolls that doesn't matter.
Social media is the lifeblood of bloggers and it can be really fun for the average Joe, but for celebrities it's like walking a tight rope--exciting and fun but dangerous all at the same time.
Sorry Jameis, but your a celebrity now so enjoy it, but beware the social media monster.
