Don't be surprised to see Culliver cut sometime in the near future. In fact--expect it.

The police got their in time to stop him and take him in to custody. He was arrested on charges of felony hit and run for striking the bicyclist, reckless driving causing an injury, felony possession of brass knuckles and misdemeanor hit and run for the striking the vehicle.
Let me just say this now--dumb, dumb, dumb.
Had he done the right thing and simply stayed at the scene of the accident everything would have probably been fine. Accidents happen and I imagine that Culliver would have had to cover any medical bills, buy the person a new bike, and maybe some tickets but that would have been it.
Instead he's facing a felony charge and could (and probably will) get cut.
The 49ers have said that they are aware of the situation, but since the legal end of it is ongoing they are not saying anything, but the writing is on the wall. This is the second time that Culliver has caused a negative light to shine on the 49ers. Prior to Super Bowl XLVII he made some controversial comments--that he couldn't accept an openly gay teammate.
At that point it was just saying something stupid. Now he's done something criminal. If DeSean Jackson's release has taught us anything it is that teams do not want to deal with character issues (real or suspected).
It will be more surprising if he is not cut.
