Prior to Wednesday night's game he had only four hits, 11 strikeouts, and no RBIs to his name. He still struck out twice Wednesday, but hopefully his monster of a home run in the fourth will be a sign of things to come--and the slump being busted!
It certainly seemed to work wonders for the Nationals that night. The Marlins had been sitting on a 5-0 lead so his three-run shot made it a game again. Washington ended up winning it in the end 10-7 off of a grand slam by Jayson Werth in the 8th.
