Could Auburn RB Corey Grant Break the NFL Combine Record in the 40-Yard Dash Next Year?

New York Jets running back Chris Johnson is credited with the fastest 40-yard dash time in the history of the combine after running a blazing fast 4.24 when he came out of East Carolina back in 2008. Ever since the football loving world has watched the Combine to see if someone could top him.

It looks like Auburn running back Corey Grant might be a pretty good candidate next year.

Over the weekend the word began to spread over the internet that Grant had run anywhere from a 4.11 to a 4.18 (depending on who was holding the timer). Not bad, right? If you believe the 4.11 time he even beat former Auburn running back Bo Jackson's supposed best at the '86 Combine.

Of course whether he will beat Johnson's or Jackson's marks will not matter as much as his production on the field, but if his work during the spring is any indication that will not be a problem either!
