Russell Westbrook is Surprised His Pocket Tweet is So Popular

We've all done it at some point. Sat on our phones and butt-dialed someone. Maybe sent a text full of gibberish or if you're Brett Favre a picture of your little Favre. With phones getting slimmer and slimmer and easier to stick wherever it's even easier--especially with them becoming more touch sensitive.

Just ask Russell Westbrook.

Sometime on Monday Westbrook somehow managed to accidentally tweet his name to his 1.65 million followers.


Within a couple hours it was retweeted over 2000 times and favorite almost as much. When he finally noticed what he did it caught him a little by surprise.


Take it as a compliment Russ. Some celebrities tweet all sorts of deep, meaningful stuff and it barely gets noticed. All you had to do was tweet your name by accident and thousands took notice.

Now if only our politicians commanded that kind of respect....
