The Pacers and Paul George have not had a whole lot to feel confident about of late so when George threw up a three-point attempt late in the game from well behind the arc fans had to be thinking WTF?
As it turns out George knew just what he was doing and just wanted to prove he had his swagger back.
The Indiana Pacers have been in a bit of an offensive funk of late. Prior to Wednesday's explosion the team had scored less than 80 in five of six games and only scored 84 in the other (a win over Miami). So to take a shot like that and hit it would be something that would make most players smile and maybe even celebrate a little.
Not Paul George. For him it was just another day at the office.
The Pacers went on to win 101-94 for the first 100+ point game since March 15 when they played the very same Pistons.
