Cam Newton has not given the fans much to cheer about during the preseason--but that's okay. The fans know he needs to get healthy and they'd rather see him sit in these meaningless games than risk injury. Sunday night against Kansas City he was cleared to play and did (for a little bit).
He made the most of his time though and gave one young fan an incredible memory.

So it wasn't a touchdown ball that he scored (Jonathan Stewart did), but that's okay. The kid will not remember that. He'll just remember who gave it to him.
