Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt has been called out several times, but since he's been pretty busy with training camp he has not had the opportunity to respond--till now.
No--he did not take the challenge, but if you're a fan of his than you shouldn't be surprised. There are few that take playing football as seriously as he does. The man even gets kidded by his teammates for not having much of a social life because of his devotion to being the best in the game.
That being said, if you know him you also know that he is not the type to back down from a challenge or pass up an opportunity to make a difference. So in response to the challenges sent his way he made a nice donation to the ALS Association:
While we've been a bit busy with camp, I have seen the ice bucket challenges that have been sent my way. #FightALS pic.twitter.com/yJpPoXUMi1

You have to respect his commitment to the game, but you also have to love the guy for still doing his part to make a difference.
Well done Mr. Watt. Well done indeed.
GOD bLESS U JJ
