Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo Gives Fans His Best and Worst Against Seattle [GIFs]

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is--well, he's Tony Romo. He's an incredibly talented, one man show of a football player capable of great things (but only accomplishing good ones so far), and also capable of keeping the other team in the game as much as his own.

Is it because he doesn't care? Does he prepare enough? Is he unlucky? Did he anger the Gridiron Gods that rule over Football Nirvana?

None of the above. He's just Tony Romo, an unheralded quarterback out of Eastern Illinois.

With a big test against the Seahawks half the football loving world wanted to see Seattle hand him his behind (which they did on one play). The other half wanted to see him play like the son of Zeus Jerry Jones believes he is. Everyone wanted to see if he'd implode and hand the game to Russell Wilson on a silver platter.

So--who ended up being happy with what they saw? In the end everyone.

There was Clutch Romo making the unbelievable scrambles and completing amazing passes.

There was also the 'here we go again' Romo that has a knack for making bumbling look easy (although the center does deserve credit here as well).

Ultimately this was a win for the Cowboys Nation and Romo Lovers everywhere, but fans should proceed with caution. It's only the sixth game of the season. Fans that follow the team know that Sunday's game against the Seahawks has been the kind of scenario where Romo has been at his worst the last few seasons.

Not this time though. This time was different. Instead Romo was everything Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett have been saying he is.

So the question now is this--will this season be different?

  1. That fumble is on the Center and guard, mostly the guard. Right before the snap the guard signals to the center to snap, by tapping his butt. The snap is an Romo's feet. You always want to blame Romo for something

    1. On that play it did have a lot to do with the center too, but the point was that shit just seems to happen around romo. Often--if not most of the time--it is his fault.

  2. Another Romo hater! Bad snap and at the wrong time. Had nothing to do with Tony.

    1. He gave credit to the center as well as romo. How come st. Tony wasn't paying attention?
