So--how about New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Brandin Cooks?
via Bleacher Report |
Cooks did more than answer the call Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. He showed why the Saints were smart to use a first round pick on him. Touchdown runs like you see above certainly help, but what was really impressive was when he caught a pass he tipped up in to the air himself:
Later on in the game he caught this bomb from Drew Brees to put the Saints up for good:
He finished the night with a career high 98 all-purpose yards (94 receiving) and two touchdowns.
With young guys like this helping him out Brees might be able to play till he's 45 after all.
