When it comes to the Chicago Bears victory has and likely always will hinge on how well the defense can play. Quarterback Jay Cutler is capable of great things, but you can never tell what version of him is going to show up--the play-making Smoking Jay bad*ss or the 'hey, I just thought the guys in the other jerseys wanted to play catch too' version.
Sunday against the Bears good Jay showed up, but just to make sure the win was secured Willie Young and the defense decided to make life hard on Falcons QB Matt Ryan.

It wasn't the first time he got to Ryan. He and Jared Allen combined to take Ryan down a couple minutes earlier.

i am a Falcons fan unless they are playing Chicago. Matt Ryan is going to wake up in traction one day after one of these outings. if the offensive line cannot protect him any better than last year then Atlanta should have used 1st pick on defense because it sure looks like they cannot stop anyone better than last year either.
