WATCH: Temple Defense Hits Houston Cougars QB Greg Ward Jr. So Hard His Helmet Flies Off--Literally!

Going in to the half Friday night against Temple things are looking good for the Cougars who hold a 17-10 lead. However, they nearly took a pretty big hit in the first quarter when it appeared that their quarterback lost his head trying to make a dash for the end zone.

Literally.

When the team watches this film you know he is going to hear all sorts of  "Houston, we have a problem" comments since his helmet was pretty much put in to orbit. Good thing is he must not have been hurt since he's still in the game.

No word on whether he knows what planet he is on.
