WATCH: Travis Ishikawa Hits Three-Run Blast in the 9th to Send Giants to the World Series!
Madison Bumgarner pitched a heck of a game for the San Francisco Giants to try and send his team to the World Series for the third time in five seasons. There was just one problem--Adam Wainwright pitched an even better game for the Cardinals. With the game tied at 3-3 in the ninth either something had to happen or the game was going to extra innings.
Well--something happened.
The Cardinals inserted Michael Wacha in the ninth and it all fell apart from there. A single, an out, and walk later Travis Ishikawa stepped up to the plate--and boom.
Three-run walk off home run.
