You'll Never Guess Who is Leading the NFL in Receptions So Far This Season (hint--he plays for the Chicago Bears)
Matt Forte is a beat. He is without a doubt on of the best running backs in the NFL today; something he proved once again on Sunday with a stellar performance against the Atlanta Falcons (157 all purpose yards and two touchdowns). That comes as no surprise to those that know and love the Bears running back (talking to you fantasy owners).
What may surprise fans is that he actually leads the NFL in a category that is typically dominated by another position.
Forte is leading the NFL in receptions through Week Six:
To be fair to the wide receivers 22 of those did come in the last couple of weeks and most of those could be called glorified hand-offs (screen passes or short passes out in the flats), but a catch is a catch is a catch.
