Social media is going to have fun with this one. Referees are supposed to be untouchable during a game. Not just metaphorically speaking, but literally as well. Yell at one too much and you risk being penalized, but if you actually make physical contact with one you are going to be lucky if you don't get ejected.
Well--Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston didn't just make contact with the ref on this play. He shoves the man out of the way.
I get it. You are trying to get to the line and run a play. He was in the way, but rule are rules. So why wasn't Winston tossed from the game?
