WATCH: San Francisco 49ers Defense Absolutely Destroys Robert Griffin III

Some fans of the Washington Redskins are starting to wonder what it is going to take for head coach Jay Gruden to go ahead and pull the trigger on struggling quarterback Robert Griffin III. Something is not clicking in the former offensive rookie of the year. Once you pull a guy it can be hard to get him back in the game again (mentally as well as literally) so maybe Gruden wants to give RG3 every chance possible.

Or maybe he is just waiting for opposing defenses to make the decision for him.

With the hits that RG3 has been absorbing of late Gruden may not have to make a decision on his quarterback. It would not be surprising if the man needed some time off with the number of massive hits he keeps taking.

The 49ers sacked him five times on the day and were credited with another eight hits. Tampa Bay recorded six sacks and 11 hits the week before. On the season he's been sacked 33 times and hit 67.
