There was something missing during Saturday's slate of college football games. With the exception of the Yale-Harvard game there really wasn't a good, competitive game in the bunch. Yeah, I know Florida State was pushed pretty hard, but that was mostly because they played really bad. Some were competitive for a half or a quarter, but in the end the score was still a blowout.
However, that does not mean there was a shortage in beautiful plays--because there wasn't. There were a pair of one-handed catches that were especially awesome.

Ohio State's Jalin Marshall had a real pretty one for a touchdown against Indiana. Virginia's Canaan Severin was a thing of beauty against Miami.
So here's the million dollar question: which one was the best?

As much as I like Marshall's I think I have to go with Severin here. Marshall had to reach for his, but he didn't really break stride. Severin, on the other hand, had to jump, extend, and than regain his footing enough so that he could make it in to the end zone.
Both are things of beauty, but Severin's is just a wee bit prettier (in my humble opinion).
