Should Chicago Bears Shut Down Brandon Marshall For the Season After Latest Injury? [GIFs]

How much worse can the season get for the Chicago Bears? It's bad enough that Jay Cutler can't seem to figure out which end is up, but it looks like one of the guys that helps him figure it out may not be on the field for a while--wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

After taking one too many hits the veteran wide receiver was seen leaving Soldier Field in an ambulance.

Word is he has a rib injury that he may have suffered after taking a hard knee to the back on this play:

Rib injuries can be real tricky. There really isn't much you can do for them other than not get hit. If it is bad enough for the team to take him away in an ambulance you have to wonder if the Bears will go ahead and shut him down for the season rather than risk something further.
