FAA Releases Video Warning Fans to Leave Drones at Home For the Super Bowl [VIDEO]

I'm a little amazed that the FAA feels the need to produce such a video, but they did. If you happen to live in and around the University of Phoenix Stadium be sure and keep your drone grounded this Sunday. If you don't you could get in a fair amount of trouble with the FAA.

A 30-mile no fly zone has been declared around the stadium for an hour before and till after the game.

If you are at the game and flying a drone over the field you spent a lot of money on a ticket just to play with a really expensive toy at the big game. If you are not at the game is it really worth the risk of getting your drone shot down or crashing just to get a bird's eye view of the game?

Are drones really such an issue at football games that the FAA actually needs to release a warning like this?
