It was a little surprising when
Teddy Bridgewater was still available at the end of the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, but Minnesota Vikings fans are certainly happy he was. He ended up starting 13 games last season and led the team to a 7-9 record; much better than anyone guessed since the team was without Adrian Peterson the whole time.
Over all he played pretty good completing 64.4% of his passes for just under 3000 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions--good enough to be named the
Pepsi Rookie of the Year apparently!

It will come as a suprise to many considering the competition he had for the honor--New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins, and Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill.
Most considered OBJ the obvious choice, but maybe it was too obvious and Giants fans didn't vote enough while Vikings fans did.
