The mop kids at basketball games are important to the safety of the players. When you run up and down the court like these guys do you are bound to get sweaty and drip all over the place. Drip too much on any one spot and there is a good chance it gets slippery and someone slips risking an injury. That's where the mop kids come in. It is there job to keep the court as dry as possible while the teams are on the other end of the floor.
