WATCH: Detroit Lions WR Golden Tate Exacts His Revenge After Getting Whacked
The Dallas Cowboys welcomed Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate to AT&T Stadium with an epic hit on the his first attempted punt return of the day Sunday. It was certainly an impressive hit and one that is going to be replayed on just about every sportscast when it comes time to cover the Cowboys-Lions game.
Ask him and Tate will likely say he's okay with that. Why? Because he knows the next thing they are going to show is his revenge.
There is no better revenge than catching a 51-yard touchdown pass a few plays after the hit, but Tate made it a little sweeter when he threw a block on the next drive that freed up Reggie Bush to score a touchdown.
Yeah, I'd say he got his revenge.
