WATCH: West Virginia’s Brandon Watkins Gives Texas Tech’s Norense Odiase the Double Bird After Hard Foul

Texas Tech and West Virginia played Saturday afternoon. The game went as could be expected for one between a nationally ranked team and an unranked one with a .500 record. The No. 17 Mountaineers clobbered the unranked Red Raiders 77-58. While the score and the game itself may have been a little unremarkable a scence from the game will make Sportscenter and just about every blog in existance.

I'm talking about what happened after West Virginia's Brandon Watkins and Texas Tech's Norense Odiase.

Watkins was fouled. Yes, it sucks, but that kind of thing happens in a game. That's not to say you should like it or be happy about it. However, doing something like what he does here is a little uncalled for.

Keep it classy Brandon. Come on man.

Since Odiase went off after getting the double bird from Watkins he ended up getting ejected from the game. Is it fair? Eh--probably not. But if he can't handle getting flipped off by the competition than maybe he doesn't need to be on the court at all.

Seriously, I've seen worse trash talk on the playground not spark such a reaction.
