When Will the NFL Quit Bullying Marshawn Lynch?

In a way I can see where the NFL is coming from. With the marquee game of the season just days away it wants the best players on each team to have some face time with the media. It's all about selling the product. So that means the Tom Brady's, Richard Sherman's, Russell Wilson's, Rob Gronkowski's, and Earl Thomas's need to answer whatever stupid questions the media may have.

Oh--and that means the Marshawn Lych's as well whether he likes it or not.

From a business standpoint it makes sense to have the stars talk, but when one does not want to--like Marshawn Lynch--you would think they might be okay with it and let him do his own thing. Instead the NFL opts to bully one of its premier running backs and force him to talk.

Yes, this is the very same league that has taken a stance against bullying. Rather than practice what it preaches it threatens to hit guys with a half million dollar fine if he doesn't talk. So he does, but in his own special way of course.

You would think that the league would learn by now that he is not going to do what they want just because the league tries to force his hand. In essence, he gets the last laugh on the league because the videos of his 'interviews' always go viral.

So give it up NFL. You are never going to be able to force anyone in to giving an interview if they don't want to, So leave Marshawn alone before other players get organized and make some kind of show of support.

Can you imagine the Seattle locker room all saying nothing but 'thank you for the opportunity?'
