Ohio State Defensive End Sam Hubbard Agrees to Take High School Girl to Prom If She Gets 15K Retweets

Every year we hear about a few stories where high school seniors tweet celebrities and athletes and ask them to go to prom if they can get a certain number of retweets. Last year a football player from Crosby, TX, got a cheerleader from the Houston Texans to go to prom with him. This year it appears a young lady by the name of Sarah Yackee is trying to go to prom with Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard.

She needs just 15K retweets to get her man.

Before you start thinking this is creepy as hell, Sam was a redshirt freshman last season so he is not too much older than Sarah is.


It's been kind of slow going so far with fewer than 4000 at around 12:30 AM Thursday morning. If she doesn't reach her goal she has gotten several other offers on her timeline already. She will have no trouble finding a date.

Normally what we see is a guy getting all sorts of help getting a date with a cheerleader, but will a girl get as much help as a guy would? We shall see.
