Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Darrell Bevell Throws Ricardo Lockette Under the Bus

Football fans and analysts were baffled when the Seattle Seahawks went for the go-ahead touchdown with a pass rather than letting Marshawn Lynch do what he does best. Why not run one of the best and toughest runners in the NFL when you are on the goal line and need to get the tough yards right then and there?

According to Seattle OC Darrell Bevell that wouldn't have mattered if Ricardo Lockette had done what he should have done.

While talking to the press after the game Bevell made it clear that he thought Lockette should have played tougher:

With a fan base that is as fiercely loyal to its team as Seattle is that is not going over well with them. Many are now calling for his job after he threw Lockette under the bus (and made that dreadful call).
