Pete Carroll is going to have a hard time living this decision down. For some odd reason even though the clock was on their side he opted to run a pass play on the goal line rather than give the ball to Marshawn Lynch, one of the best running backs in the league. Instead he runs a slant, the ball pops up in the air and gets intercepted by Patriots safety Malcolm Butler.
Not bad way to finish off your rookie season! Well done Malcolm. Well done indeed.
