New Washington Redskins Defensive Lineman Stephen Paea Looking Forward to Bringing Haka to Washington D.C. [VIDEO]

Players are known for having all sorts of pregame traditions. Some like to pray before a game. Others have to go to the bathroom. For some it's a particular pregame meal. For new Washington Redskins defensive lineman Stephen Paea it has been a pregame Haka. The Haka is a traditional warrior dance from his homeland of New Zealand; something the nation's sports teams have been doing for years.

Paea has been doing it throughout his college days at Oregon State and during his tenure with the Chicago Bears. Now that he has signed with the Redskins some fans were wondering if he was going to bring it to DC and asked him as much during a Reddit AMA session.

His answer? Absolutely! Hmmm...I can't help but wonder if some politically correct folks are going to take issue with it being a tribal thing and the controversy with the team's name.

Paea's version is pretty cool, but if you want to see just how badass it can be watch the New Zealand All-Blacks rugby team perform it:
