About a week or so ago Steve Ballmer, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, had to be thinking the $2 billion he spent on the Los Angeles Clippers was a pretty solid investment. After taking a 3-1 lead over the Houston Rockets it looked like his team was a shoe-in for the Western Conference Finals. Then the Rockets won Game Five, but no big deal--his guys will win in Los Angeles.
It looked like that was indeed going to be the case until the Rockets completed a comeback for the ages and won that one too. There was still Game 7 though....

But instead of watching his team win Game 7 and move on to the next round he had to watch in anguish as his team trailed the entire game before finally losing 113-100.
