Andre Johnson: An All-Miami Hurricane Team Could Win the Super Bowl

It has been awhile since the Miami Hurricanes have been counted among the elite of college football, but even in the down years the U is still turning out plenty of NFL caliber talent. Seven players off of last year's squad are on NFL rosters. Over the years a number of NFL greats have come out of the school. Jim Kelly did pretty well for himself as did Reggie Wayne, Michael Irvin, Edgerin James, Clinton Portis, Warren Sapp, Ed Reed, and many more.

What if you could get them all to play on one team (in their prime of course)?

According to fellow Miami alum and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson they could win the Super Bowl:
"Yeah I really think you can [win a Super Bowl],” Johnson said. "If you put a team together and all of the guys are in their prime, yes, I think you could get it done."
Well, heck--a number of schools could probably make that claim. What about now Andre?
"I think you could put something together that would get you there," Johnson said. "I think you can put a team together that can get it done."
All-time guys? Sure. Current players? I don't know about that. The defense would be solid and the skill position guys would be pretty good, but it has been awhile since Miami has turned out a good NFL quarterback.

Then again, we have seen a few Super Bowl teams with glorified game managers at quarterback so who knows....
