Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton Celebrates Historic Contract Extension Like a Champ

Cam Newton is a good quarterback. There are some that will argue that point, but not many. On Tuesday the Carolina Panthers made it clear they think he is a great quarterback by signing him to a record breaking contract extension--five-years, $103 million with over $67 million coming in the first three years and $60 million of that guaranteed.

So he should be happy, right? No--more like freaking on top of the moon, ecstatic. He should be chartering a private jet staffed by the hottest models on Earth to fly to parts unknown for an epic party to celebrate his fortune, but he isn't.

Instead he is having a unique bowl of cereal and going to practice:

Newton says he's celebrating with a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch and some lucky charms with some milk. "Then it is time for practice."
